Le Temps est à la Pluie is a threnody to all life in the Pacific region that has fallen victim to radiation leaks from French nuclear testing on Polynesian atolls over the last four decades. In several instances, nuclear contamination of the area occurred in the form of fallout and contaminated rain falling upon unsuspecting inhabitants, who are dependent on the rain for their water supply.
