Reproduction Licence – Research Dissertation

We normally try to accommodate all requests from scholars (and students) to include music examples or music quotations from our music. If you wish to apply for a licence please contact us with the following information:

• An official letter of request, on departmental letterhead, stating the scope of your request (i.e. how many measures and what specific material) and co-signed by you and your research supervisor/advisor. 

On receipt of your application, we will issue a non-exclusive licence. Please note the following:

• We normally do not allow the inclusion of more than one-third of the total quantity of music in the publication. 
• We also ask that in lieu of any payment a digital copy of the final version of the dissertation is supplied to us for our records and forwarding to the composer.
