
Morning Star II is the second in a series of three chamber works by Sydney-based Paul Stanhope which draw on Aboriginal melodies and combines them with minimalist textures to create a conversational and captivating work for both players and audiences.
This work exists in two versions, this edition is the performance parts for flute, clarinet, violin, violoncello.

Paul Stanhope is a freelance composer based in Sydney, Australia. In his music, Stanhope constructs a personal response to place and time within the context of contemporary culture, and as such he is inspired by a diverse array of material ranging from the topographical through to quirky aspects of popular culture.
